I’ve found my morning routine is the most important part of my day. If I get that piece right, the rest of the day typically goes more to my liking. So here’s my new morning routine:

Wake

Workout  (I have a 1 minute, 5 minute, and a 30 minute workout, I’ll pick the one that feels right for my day)

Write  (One blog post per day, for the next 365 days!)

Meditate  (I have a 10 minute meditation and a 30 minute meditation depending on how early I want to get to work)

Walk in nature  (About 45 minutes)

Play guitar  (I’m just learning, I’ve been just learning for the past 30 years, but have been making good progress lately. LOL)

Eat Veggies  (I like to get my veggies in early, an omelet, veggie & egg scramble, a big plate of sautéed veggies, a blend, or a smoothie.)

That’s it.

I keep a little note book where I write down my morning routine so as I’m building the new habit I can easily remind myself of my intentions.
